We came in May and liked the food so booked our festive meal for this weekend, staff were helpful as they had put us in the main dining area but we booked for the private area and they sorted this out very quickly. Vegetables a bit cold but otherwise food was nice. The service was excellent. However due to cold vegetables I give this a 4 star. Nice pub, worth a visit.
Good food n service. Very nice surroundings n not badly priced
Very nice pub for a Sunday roast with the family, situated in a nice spot across from a green to kick a ball around with the kids. Food was very nice and the staff was friendly. Will certainly visit again
Very nice food and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere
A nice old pub, well kept but perhaps a bit bland in its interior renovation. We sat in the pub garden on a late afternoon on one of the hottest days of the year. They expect clients to be decently dressed and decently behaved which is admirable. We only stayed for a quick drink but the local beer was well kept too.
