“Has been my favourite Chinese take-away since moving into the local area in 1997 despite a change of ownership a couple of times. Consistently good food, discount for collection or free local delivery, free prawn crackers if you spend £15. Since last change of ownership, some non Chinese staff on the telephones / front desk that don't seem to be quite as efficient as previous owners/ staff. Occasionally 20 or 30 minutes wait for order to be cooked on Saturday evenings. Generally no complaints and worth the wait.”

I've been trying new things as I go, but the chicken and waffles was amazing, the only issue I had was the waffles were just a bit too tough for me. The steaks here are also amazing, but cheaper cuts of steaks get cooked with noticeably less accurate rarity. Would definitely still go back though, over and over again.”

“I have been using this Chinese takeaway for over six years now. The place is clean and the food is always made to order. The food always tastes good. I use the place frequently so I would be able to tell if there was something wrong with the food. Another good sign to me is the place is always busy and I have used the other two Chinese takeaways in the area and I only used them once. These guys never disappoint and I always look forward to the treat. If you are looking for a decent and extremely reasonably priced takeaway then this is the place.”

I always have duck with pancakes as a starter. I prefer it when it comes on the bone and I shred it myself as it seems moister. Just a personal preference. But It came pre shredded in a container. The chow mein came in a small container which I'm used to coming in a large container from other takeaways. The price didn't reflect the smaller portion size. Overall it was a nice tasting meal. Nothing spectacular with slightly small portions. The prices was competitive with other takeaways.”
