The Chappel is a symbol of London. The picture is from the funeral of Lady Margret Thatcher, and shows the MET police escort. The funeral continued from here with full military honours, but the motorcicle policmen were an example of syncronicity.
A massive part of British history, the RAF Chapel of Remembrance has now been turned into a museum, holding religious services only on special occasions such as Battle of Britain and Remembrance Sunday.
The chapel has beautiful stained glass windows depicting the squadrons which flew from there during the wars, and a collection of war memorabilia relating to its history.
