  I started yoga with Marika last spring and I've never looked back. Her classes are informal, supportive and incredibly personal, which has enabled me to improve my posture and technique every week. Whatever your level, she finds a way to make yoga fun and rewarding. She's a knowledgeable teacher with a huge passion for yoga and movement, and a great sense of humour! Her classes are also incredibly good value compared to others in the area. I've thoroughly enjoyed every one of her classes and I really can't recommend her enough.

  I started with Marika as part of a weekly class and then moved onto weekly 1:1 classes, even through my pregancy. Marika imparts her vast knowledge of yoga; the body and mind, to her students. We tailor our 1:1 classes based on my mood, for example sometimes with music, working on specific areas etc. Marika's style is hands on, which I personally find really helps understand what parts of the body need to do what to move into a posture, but Scaravelli isn't about what it ultimately looks like, it's about doing it right. So your downward dog might not look picture perfect, but your alignment is.

  This is not your run of the mill yoga class! I highly recommend it
  
  Since learning from Marika my posture and flexibility is significantly better. I see her classes as a way to unlearn all of the bad habits I have picked up from sitting at a desk 9-5, five days a week
  
  Marika is a very generous, patient and inventive teacher. She is very hands on which I have come to realise is the only way to really learn.
  
  Classes are small and relaxed and progress of the student is met with genuine joy of the teacher. Not something I have experienced often if at all in other classes

  I thoroughly enjoy my classes with Marika. Being new to Yoga, Marikas small and structured classes are very beneficial & she provides a unique teaching approach. I would definitely recommend Marika Yoga.

  I love my yoga classes with Marika. She is a very special teacher with a unique approach to the teaching of yoga. As she always says 'it's not about the 'picture' but about what is happening inside'. Her classes are small so she is able to give each student individual attention, and she is passionate about sharing her knowledge with others.
