  What a refreshingly good experience I had in the store today 27/8/18.
  As a first time mum to be, everything is new. I have zero idea about anything and I’m trying to learn fast! I was in the store on Saturday but it was nearly closing and couldn’t give the prams a real looking over so i returned today with my Partner. I was having a look around and approached by a young chap. Called JOSH. Josh needs to run this stores customer service and training department!
  As someone who’s owned a few companies and knows how hard it is to get staff who can deliver correct information - fast and make the customer feel completely at ease - Josh for his age blew us away! He spent around 30minutes with us, answered all of questions. Explained the differences between prams - pros and cons. Got every pram out for us which we were interested in, showed us how to add the different parts and fold them down. Nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel that too, which is very hard.
  He was very knowledgeable, had a little laugh with us but remained professional the entire way through and as first time parents who are in our late 30’s and 40’s we were honestly blown away by how utterly helpful he was. He made me us both, but especially me, leave there feeling like we actually knew what we were doing, what products we needed to buy (they weren’t currently in stock as they were on preorder) and also made me personally feel capable of being able to fold the pram down and get it in the boot when I have the baby - (which I really was worried about seeing mums struggle in car parks in the rain.)
  I don’t normally leave reviews but felt like for such a young lad in today’s age where young people are given such a bad press - Josh really deserved a little recognition for doing his job extremely well! If he applies himself the same way through life he will go very far.
  We will be returning next week to purchase our pram, car seat, bottle sterilisers, baby grows, cot, high chair, and whatever else Josh thinks we need! Ha! Fantastic service. Thank you :-)

  So, I just visited Mothercare for the first time, as my husband is expecting, I was looking for the Tommee Tippee sucky bottle set, when my attention was stolen, by a mysterious worker on his trial shift, he was quite greasy looking, but an amazing to help to me, he even offered to assist me in the changing room! Give this boy more shifts, and I will be back!
