  Lovely place! Exhibition is nice, you can learn a lot. We kind of had a private tour with one elderly gentlemen, one of the volunteers, who toured us around the house and told us incredible details of Darwin’s life. The garden is worth seeing too. We went in autumn and there wasn’t much to do but I guess it would be worth going another time of the year.

  An extremely interesting house, set in beautiful surroundings. A few winding narrow lanes to get there but nothing too serious. A truly fascinating family and a great insight into a remarkable man. The audio tour is very well prepared, especially when you are touring the grounds

  Delightful place to visit. Even if you’re a silly creationist, just go and enjoy the garden. Keep your views to yourself though.
  Staff are friendly and helpful. Food and drink from the Cafè are good. Gift shop has some unique items. And Darwin of course - The most important individual in this country’s history, maybe the world.

  Fascinating place . Very impressed and grateful to the helpful staff , and the wheelchair adaptations . There is a lift and ramps which meant I could go in every room in my electric wheelchair . I would advise going at quieter times to make it easier for wheelchairs. It started to become crowded at the end if my visit and it was hard to manoeuvre the wheelchair . Phoning in advance will enable the staff to advise of quieter times. I arrived at 10 .15 am on a Sunday. Easy parking. At 1pm it was becoming crowded and the car park was full at 1pm
  Superb exhibition about Darwin . Beautiful house . Pleasant tea room and gardens. Gift shop . Highly recommend. .

  Visited this place rather impromptu. Nice surprise. Ample parking, very friendly staff throughout. There's literally nobody there that isn't a fan of Charles Darwin; everyone is very knowledgeable about the family of Charles Darwin, his achievements and how he lived his life.
  
  Here, they focus more on the life that Darwin has lived, being his house and all, rather than only his achievements.
