Had a roast dinner here on a Sunday evening and it was lovely. The Turkey was juicy and tasty and everything else was cooked properly. Very cosy place which had a nice atmosphere without being too noisy. Staff were friendly.
Very good food although unfortunately the Yorkshire pudding could do with being a little smaller. The cutlery (knives) could do with some sharpening we found. Service was sometimes a little slow through some parts of the meal, but every single waitress that served us was so very polite and helpful. They are a credit to the above manager and premises.
As usual the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. There were twelve at our table, and the service from John and Millie was friendly and very efficient. The meals were excellent, hot and all served at the same time. Full credit to Chef Tom. The whole dining experience for a family celebratory dinner could not have been bettered.
