(December 6, 2018, 4:48 am)Beautiful large country park which has a lot of history being an RAF base during WW2. Large cafe serving a good selection of hot and cold meals to eat in or take away. Cafe has great views and bird watching facilities. Inside or outside seating. Building contains shop..museum..and hall for hire. There is a great well equipped play area. A variety of walks around park...and lake. Large adventure play area and Adult ourdoor gym. Large car parks. Free Admission.
(November 4, 2018, 12:37 pm)A really nice country park. Multiple play areas for the children, a lovely new visitors centre and plenty of paths to trek or take your dog for a walk. Parking cam be a little tight, but they are in the process of extending the main parking area to increase capacity.

(July 29, 2018, 2:28 pm)Great place to walk. Lots of seating and a tea room and information centre. Several car parks. Lovely lake great historical notices of war remnants. Well worth the effort. We spent a whole afternoon there
