(November 9, 2017, 4:30 am)Was alone and a bit lost. Chanced by this place and popped in for a drink. Opened the door and the place fell silent. A man put his drink down, walked up to me, and asked “Oo’ the fakkin’ ‘ell are you then?” I decided this place seemed fun, told him my name, and got a myself a beer. Someone else asked “are you a copper or summink?” (I’m not), so I replied “I might be! Why? What’ve you done?” but before he could answer the barmaid told him to leave me alone! As a tourist I award 5 stars for such an authentic tradional London pub that lives up to a genuine cockney stereotype!
