I hired Band de Jour to play at my wedding in July 2015 and I couldn't have been happier with the choice!
Stu and the band were super friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, and on the night they belted out an incredible set that got everyone dancing. Even better, they stayed to party with us afterwards - leading the crowd in a few acoustic numbers, and having a campfire singalong that went on long past the official end of the night.
Band de Jour really made the day for us and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.
Fantastic band. hired this group to play at our wedding reception, and the talking point of the evening and the next day was how great the band were and where did we find them.
Every little detail was taken care of, and they were thoroughly professional from the first meeting till the end. And we were made to feel genuinely important, like it really mattered to them, and felt totally at ease leaving the entertainment in their hands, and they did not disappoint.
Band de jour made our evening come alive, we left it up to them to decide what songs to play, and once they got a feel for what went down well, the hits just kept coming and we had a full dance floor all night and their vast range of music catered for all tastes young and old. And at the end of the night when they had finished their contracted sets, but people still wanted more. They managed to fit in a couple of extra songs.
Total class, would recommend to any one and everyone!
My fiancé booked you for my surprise 30th birthday party on Saturday and what a great surprise it was!! Your playlist was brilliant so got people on the floor really quickly and also had such a variety, from indie/rock to the party classics - it catered for everyone - even the Nans could get up at one point! You even got us involved in the performance, as your backing singers, whilst scary was thoroughly enjoyable and something that I will always remember! My own personal 5 minutes of fame :). Thank you for a great night, you were an absolute pleasure to deal with! Hope to have you perform again!!
Followed Band de Jour last year every gig was better than the last, rocked every venue, even if the audience weren’t the best, can’t wait to kick off this year, so if you need a good band book them and let me know I will be there
