  This is a lovely site, friendly. Wardens are great. Only let down is shower block but this is due for refurbishment Jan- April 19.

  The caravan site is lovely and quiet, we did some lovely walking around the area. We had a lovely meal in Welwyn Garden City..

  Access road a bit tight but close to A1 and Tesco, so ideal for an overnighter. Mix of hard and grass pitches. Motorhome service point easy to use. High trees provide good shelter but block satellite signal on some pitches. Quite peaceful considering the location.

  Commons Wood is a very popular site 12 months of the year, even in the snow! Always clean and tidy with helpful wardens. I personally use Commons Wood for storing my caravan, but if you need somewhere to stay to visit London or south Hertfordshire then it's perfect. Great road links and direct rail into Kings Cross.
  Hatfield House and Knebworth House just 5 minutes and 15 minutes respectively. Worth a visit..
