Very beautiful and quiet. It has several paths of different lengths, including one with wooden statues. There's a big grazing field in the middle with some cattle which is good for kids to see.
Nice and peaceful, some remnants of Roman roads. Good for dog walking.
Fantastic place peaceful great autumn colours on trees & ferns very nice
Beautiful woodland with signed routes. Walked 5 miles and visited two pubs en route - The Farmers Boy in Bickendon and The Woodman and Olive ... somewhere else. Both pubs are great country pubs with good food. The Woodman is Greek and features a barbecue in their large garden at the edge of the woods. There are a couple of swings for the kids - or for the young at heart.
Very safe and I can ride my horse there.
There are many people who go there to relax with their families. Ample parking is provided with nice walks and clear signage.
