(December 20, 2018, 4:14 am)A great country pub in the heart of Much Haddam. A group of friends from the surrounding county frequently choose this pub for a get together, for both drinks and food.
I had their house burger a couple of nights ago and it was very tasty! Both food and drinks are reasonably priced.
Worth a visit!
(November 7, 2018, 10:46 am)Last night all four of us enjoyed our meal! I was surprised how good the meal was, the cod loin with pancetta was perfectly cooked! The pie shortcrust base and topping all homemade. The pub is clean and the staff friendly!

(September 18, 2018, 12:06 pm)I am so sorry you ended up with 3 stars - I was interrupted! We had a delicious meal and the staff were really lovely. The pub is traditional inside and has a pleasant garden and car parking at the back. I would happily go back.
(August 31, 2018, 1:27 pm)Lovely pub with a nice outside area. The menu was varied and a good prices. ABIT of a delay getting the food but as it is freshly cooked well worth the wait. Food was hot when it arrived and my fish and chips very tasty. Enjoyably visit cleans and tidy pub with friendly staff. Would definitely go back
