(December 19, 2018, 4:00 am)The kids and went to Aylet last night to buy some Christmas lights and we had an unexpectedly great time. The miniature town display was great as well as the Christmas decorations but the real treat was the arts and crafts activity for the kids. They each got to make a Christmas themed bell made out of a small plant pot. They chose Rudolph as a theme and the results were superb.

(December 14, 2018, 11:21 am)Nice selection of indoor and outdoor plants ,trees and hard landscape items such as pots, benches, rockery etc. Very large eatery with plenty of good food on offer. Seasonal goods and Christmas trees at this time of year (December) possibly the best Garden Centre in Hertfordshire that is independent and has fresh ideas!
(November 29, 2018, 5:52 am)This nursery is fairly vast so turn on the GPS. Covered food area with seating... its offerings are limited but there's something warm for most eaters. Several gift shops provide present opportunities galore. You will money and time BUT it's worth a visit.
(September 10, 2018, 12:55 pm)Very nice garden centre situated on the A414 just outside of St. Albans. Good array of all things garden related although not much in the way of cooking sauces and oils like many centres have. Big plus point is the butterfly area where loads are flying freely, just be careful and watch your feet as the owl butterfly likes the skirting boards. This is a really good idea and will bring us back again.
