(December 18, 2018, 4:46 am)Stayed for 1 night, chosen for its good reviews and we were not disappointed. Friendly welcome, and easy check in. Booking essential if you want to eat but despite not knowing we needed to book, the manager looked after us and found an extra table. Top service and good food - recommended!

(November 20, 2018, 9:01 am)Excellent. We went as a walking group, ordered our food before the walk. The food was then served promptly as soon as we got back and got our drinks. Excellent meal, large quantities.
(November 12, 2018, 8:48 am)Great pub. Lovely atmosphere. Nice range of beers. The menu is short and full of hearty pub grub. Perfect place for Sunday lunch or an evening out or just swing by for a couple of beers. Wonderful roaring fire for those winter days and plenty of outdoor drinking area for sunny days. You will not be disappointed.
(October 8, 2018, 4:55 am)Very clean, well appointed rooms. I had a single room which was quite compact, but the bed was a generous width not standard single. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Much better than your standard Premier Inn accommodation. The only reason I deducted a star was the awful music at breakfast!
