(November 30, 2018, 9:01 am)Open daily this church is full of history and has some ancient features. It was a Dickens connection too. Park by the wall just past the gate.
(November 15, 2018, 2:27 pm)Lovely church with links to an old priory which housed nuns. The doors are often opened for anyone wanting to visit which has a nice interior and is a quiet place to sit. Worth exploring if your planning a walk across the marshes to Cliffe fort. Have used the church as a back drop for some great photos.

Church on the Edge - Fiona Spirals
I have visited churches with wall paintings, notably St Mary's Church, Kempley, Gloucestershire and St John's, Clayton, West Sussex and referred to Roger Rosewell's book 'Medieval Wall Paintings'. I am initially working with pastels on primed paper in earth colours that resemble the hues of rediscovered wall paintings.
