  Very safe, bourgeois and polite. Limited range of moderately expensive beers. Beautiful building and surroundings with attentive staff. Cosy with real fire for the long bitterly cold UK winter nights.

  Excellent pub. Great atmosphere (especially with the fire). Had beef bourguignon which was very flavoursome. Goats cheese and beetroot salad was also excellent. Able to get restaurant food delivered to your table in the pub for a more relaxed dining experience.

  Nice bar with decent restaurant attached, food was nice and staff were friendly. Reasonably priced. Has a few special events advertised. lovely village setting.

  Thank you for a perfect lunch. My burger was amazing. No grease, not stacked ridiculously high, no overly sweet brioche bun, it was so tasty with delicious relish and freshly ground beef. The fries were light and crispy too. The pub is beautifully presented and perfectly clean and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm. Particular thanks to Debbie for being so welcoming. A real ray of sunshine. 6 stars if I could.
