Don't expect a gastro pub - but do expect a warm welcome and good size portions of good English food.
Was a bit noisy when we visited - probably as we chose to turn up during a football match - but they still managed to find us a quiet table.
Best pub in Yalding by some distance.

Friendly atmosphere, food looks great, nice outside space for smokers/vapers and an adjacent garden, parking to the rear. Oh, and they sell my favourite Cornish beer, Doombar. ????. What more do you want?

(July 2, 2018, 9:51 am)Lovely pub, advertising a local music festival coming up, The Vicar's Picnic. Music.
So, got to love 2 people at the bar who complained about Siouxsie and the Banshees on the jukebox, and had it switched off whilst watching the stuff on their phones, loudly, disturbing me, something about car crashing. Really funny.
As said, terrific pub, lovely staff, great beer, picturesque gardens. Shame about some of the clientele.
