“If ever there was a place that could be great. This is it. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. The decor is nice and the place is clean and welcoming, so why spoil it by serving hot food on cold, dirty plates? The chicken linguine I had could have been brilliant. Instead, it was nice, but no more. The chicken breast was slightly over done and had bits of 'charcoal', from the grill stuck to it. The pasta sauce was also lacking a little in depth. Would I go back? Yes. Would I recommend it to friends? No, which is a shame because I truly believe you guys could be amazing. It's the attention to detail that makes the difference.”

“Large pub in great rural location in between Goathurst Common and Ide Hill. Sometimes plays host to old car meets such as the TVR club. Used to have extensive menu with good selection of game but has changed hands and since has a revised and more standard menu. Some of the dishes are quite pricey but the food quality is good and the staff are friendly. Has also had a relatively recent makeover. Best thing about the pub, as well as it's size, are the live music events, well worth a visit.”

“I'm a busy working mum and feel too tired sometimes to bother cooking so I've ordered a couple of weeks worth of meals to pop in my freezer and get them out on days I'm feeling lazy without the guilt and price of my local takeaways . My family enjoy the plum chicken and the curries are firm favourites amongst us . I'm not local to Corner Patch but I heard about it through a friend in Meopham so I get it delivered to her house and collect several meals at once . I've got some family coming over from France soon so I'll be ordering some back up meals in advance ! They're fool proof to reheat which is what I like :-) Love the Instagram page , I like to see if there's anything new on the menu or a special dish of the week . Guilt free lazy evening meals are the way forward for me .”

“This diner is amazing, the food, the atmosphere, the themed decor and music are fantastic. The staff are friendly and accommodating, they're always smiling and they were dressed up for Halloween on our visit which was very entertaining. A lot of effort had also been put in with Halloween decorations. My friends, partner and I really enjoyed ourselves and our meal, definitely going again.”
