Just goes to show not to always trust reviews on here - having just read the 1-star review, I would have thought we were talking about a different establishment entirely!
Since we moved in locally last year, this has been our go-to Indian from the day we got the keys and were looking for somewhere quick and local to eat - we were pleasantly surprised to find this on the doorstep.

It's not without fault; sometimes we've had to wait a little while for drinks (though they come from the pub side, not the restaurant itself), and one of the new young waiters wasn't very 'with it' shall we say, but the owner/head chef is a lovely, friendly guy intent on making you feel as welcome as possible and has cooked us up some excellent Indian cuisine over our many visits.
Plus, we've had a couple of sneaky takeaways when we haven't felt like going anywhere that have been equally tasty!

Don't go expecting it to be a normal sit-in Indian restaurant, as it's still linked with the pub, but as long as you're open minded about it, it's excellent! - we've even been treated to some great live music on a Friday night courtesy of the pub side, so eat, drink and be merry!
