(July 2, 2017, 5:33 pm)If you want to learn how to dive or do that all important refresher dive before you go on holiday then Southern Scuba should be your first choice. Tony, Janine and the team are simply first rate. They have an ultra professional approach to diving but delivered in a down to earth understandable way. We did 2 refresher dives and also put our son (aged 13) and daughter (aged 10) through the PADI Open Water Junior qualification. They both passed thanks to the team's attention to detail and excellent approach to teaching children. Others have commented on the great diving and setting so I will not duplicate that here,. All in all a superb experience.
(May 28, 2016, 2:01 am)Wow.. what a change from a few years ago. Now with proper a proper toilet block, training room, changing rooms, shop and very friendly welcome.
Dive attractions have grown too with planes, boats, double decker bus etc. The unique feature is the old pump house and well. The well goes to a depth of about 18 meters, with a challenging swim through to the trench, however the pump house is at around 10meters and is an interesting and fairly easy swim through from the well and up the stairs. Visibility is variable with 10 meters on a good day and down to about 1 meter if all the silt has been kicked up. All in all well worth a dive or two. Did I mention free tea and coffee for divers? Entry price as I write the review is £10 with normal refills at £5 a go.
(April 21, 2016, 3:03 pm)This has to be one of the best inland dive sites in the south of England. Beautiful location in the Kent countryside. Some big underwater features, and a very warm welcome. A great place to dive, chill out and have fun.
