“What a nice place. I had a fabulous evening and a very special christmas dinner. I owe this to the people who work in this pub. Very friendly, attentive to detail, everything superlative. Beef made by chief Taz was absolutely fantastic. Normal prices, special menus prepared at the barbecue, everything perfect. We had beef, venison burger, lamb and pheasant crispy breast. All lip-smacking. My favorite pub since I visited it.”

“The fish and chips was so good and a great portion of it, I will definitely be back to have more and to try other dishes. The desserts were very delicious too and of great quality. The service was also excellent. The only thing I would say is that being such a cold day outside , the pub inside did not feel warm and cosy enough. There were people having their meals with their coats on, and the toilet was freezing, there was no heating whatsoever in there, it was like going outside to the freezing cold.”

“Been to this place many times, atmosphere is good never any trouble they have a pool table which is always working. The wait for food is very temperamental sometimes it's quick, others I have waited 45 minutes. The food however is very consistent You will have to pay £1 entry if you are not a member which CANNOT be added to the bill. You'll also be asked to write your name address contact details when you arrive. Overall it's a good experience and there's parking Enjoy!”

“Cleanliness is always one of my top priority when staying in a hotel, they have done a good job on this. The colour scheme of the room made it look a bit dated, but when you look around, you won't be disappointed of the cleanliness and newness of most things in the room. The bed and pillow are comfortable for a nice sleep. There isn't any other shops or restaurants close by, but this isn't an issue for us, as we only stayed for a night and we had both our dinner and breakfast there. We had a nice rest and well fed in this hotel before taking a long haul flight back home next morning.”

“A fantastic way to start our holiday. Excellent friendly (European service) not surly English take it or leave it. The food was excellent, crab and lobster small to start. We shared the starter. For centre we had Cornish lamb French style and an Italian style belly of pork. For dessert a sticky toffee pudding date pudding. We at back at Gatwick in a few weeks. We'll be here again.”

“We had a quick visit to Pret to collect food to eat on the flight. There was plenty of choice for fresh food, but it was very crowded. It would have been better if there was more space to see what was on offer and decide what to buy. At the checkouts, there was a very short queue and we were quickly served. There was not much space to sit and eat, so you may need to find seating elsewhere at the airport.”
