Amazing pub/restaurant - food was great every day during my stay at their hotel. It was so good we came back basically every night for dinner after touring Wales.
I definitely need to come back to try the rest of the menu items.
Recommendation: try the fish and chips - best I had so far!
Also the staff is great which I always love when great food is complimented with great staff!

Stopped off here for lunch and to meet a group of friends. We were greeted politely. The atmosphere was tranquil and warm, the log stoves are very efficient! A good varied menu and there were no complaints from any of the twelve of us. Recommended.

Lovely staff, loads of seating, tasty food. We didn't realise when we visited we could have ordered from the lunch menu which would have been a bit cheaper, the evening meal portion was very large and more than we could eat but delicious! Last visited about 20 years before and was also very good then!

Lovely old world pub with tasty traditional pub grub. We had the scampi and chips and the Welsh pie and chips both lovely (the Welsh pie was so hot I has to wait 5 minutes before starting). You order and pay for everything on the app. Worked really well. Staff polite and helpful. Highly recommended.

Really loved this pub when I was in the area in late June. Young lad behind the bar was brilliant with great service and respect for all his customers. An ambassador for the pub.

I had the Creamy garlic mushrooms starter and Steak & Ale Pie for mains - both very very good dishes, lovingly prepped and cooked. Really enjoyed the brilliant cans of craft lager on offer too from Tiny Rebel.

Loved this place - wish it was my local!
