“Sew 'n' Beads is the perfect place to learn how to sew clothes, cut patterns, make quilts and tonnes more! You can make pretty much anything you want and have a great time doing it. Sukh is a great teacher and so very patient with me! I love my Tuesday morning sessions at Sew n Beads where I work on my various projects whilst relaxing and chatting with a cup of tea and a biscuit! There is also a fantastic social knitting group on a wednesday night which is full of friendly faces and great chat.”

“We first came across Darren and the rest of the guys at Dude & Arnette when we moved into our Oast in 2016. The cowl required refurbishment & repair, a specialist job which demonstrated not only great skill but Darren’s cheery disposition & amazing head for heights! It was the finishing touch that made our new home look great. So when, in 2018, we needed help with some rotten oak beams at the front of our property, the first phone call I made was to Darren. He came and gave us an honest assessment of the problem and potential solutions. He had a vision of what it could be like. We put out trust in that vision and he did not disappoint. Working with traditional materials and techniques Darren & his team have given the front of our house the “wow” factor which is, at the same time, sympathetic to the rest of the property. I cannot recommend Darren & his team highly enough. A quality job delivered with great professionalism, skill & an obvious pride & enjoyment in their work.”
