The facility is over-crowded with pets but the employees are doing a great job in spite of the crowd!!!!
People, please adopt!!!
These animals need forever homes! If you plan to buy an expensive pet-hang your head and be ashamed cause there is one already waiting on you!
These people work so hard to take care of these anals. Please remember to donate, it is tax deductible and who would you rather have the money? Politicians or those cure little puppies and kittens (and so many more animals that you would be surprised). Give an hour, give a treat, give a meal, for God's sake give a care.
They were so helpful and friendly. Could not have asked for a better outcome w the stray 😺
Loved getting to see how many people came out to get the free spay or neutered for cats and dogs. Line moved fast. Long walk back to car all up hill.
I found this beautiful girl at the shelter. Her name is Zara. She was well taken care of and they even told me that she had heartworms. When they told me that I know they were worried I'd change my mind. I just couldn't say no to this sweet girl though. I could see she was scared, who wouldn't be, she was abandoned by her old family and left somewhere she didn't know. She was nervous to do so many things when I first brought her home but more and more her personality began to show. She's now very happy and gets along great with her brother and sister (both cats). They all had to get to know each other but in the end they love each other so much. She is much happier now and if it weren't for the shelter I may have never found her. Everyone here is so kind and I really appreciate them for taking care of so many pets that were abandoned. They really try their best. With more help from the community they'd be able to do so much more for these sweet babies. As far as I know they are a no kill shelter but they still have their limits on how many babies they can take in. Please fix your pets! And really consider adopting instead of breeding or adopting from breeders. Thank you Chilton County humane society for all that yall do!
