“Lifesaver! Finally found a good little grocery store that doesn't break the bank or burn a hole through your wallet. Slightly wider variety of products than other stores in our area., and all around decent pricing for most items. Its definitely not perfect.. a couple aisles were quite bare and I did find a few items stocked that were past their expiration dates. But we managed to get everything we needed, which was two fully loaded carts and we barely broke 500$. We would've spent at least twice as much had we gone somewhere else.”

“This was the first time I visited this salon. I was excited that I could finally get my hair cut after the salons being closed for over a month. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and all the staff was very nice. My appointment was made with Stephanie. She made sure the entire time that I was satisfied with my cut. She even told me not to hesitate to come back if I needed a little bit more cut. Currently she was not able to wash or blow dry my hair but she put some product in it so it would dry frizz free. She also did my eyebrows and they look fantastic. I like that they use the hard wax it doesn’t leave my skin as red. I will definitely be going back to see Stephanie and I recommended her to my step-mom.”

“Wall to wall antique antiques!!! I love taking my daughter here and showing her what life was like before Cell Phones. She said this place has more books than her school!! I'm positive that she is right. I wish we had more of these places around!!! Does anyone still remember those places like this that offered everything within its walls for free? What were those places called? What was it, ohhhh wait, Libraries... That's it, This place is just like a library, well except libraries were free and you have to pay here, all while talking louder than a whisper.... Seriously though, it's a shame that as a society we prefer to receive our intellectual stimulation from a screen than from a tangible item such as a book, or god forbid a novel. But I guess that's considered progress.... I wonder if they mean forward or backward?”

“The dollar General off of mount olive road is hands down the best dollar general around..they always have the shelves stocked and the staff are very kind..i wish i knew her name but one of the employees maybe a manager even i am sad to say i didn't get her name but she helped me buy a gift for my grandson when he came to visit and it was truly a very selfless kind gesture that isn't seen a lot these days so i at least wanted to say thank you this way..i hope she sees this and knows how much her kindness meant to me and still does to this day”

“My short experience here was perfectly fine. Nothing exceptional about the experience, but definitely nothing bad either. Were able to browse the store in peace without the need to bother anybody for assistance of any kind. The layout of the store is well done and easy to follow. There's even a clearly marked "clearance cubby" is what I'm calling it; A small arc of shoes a the back of the store in all sizes, children, men and women. There's also a TV tuned to youth-appropriate television in the back of the store (also where the kid's section is). Actually went in specifically for Toddler sized New Balance, which they had none of. All good tho. Prices here seem fair as well. After visiting, I actually ordered some shoes online from Shoe Show/Shoe Dept Encore that had the same sale price as in-store, which was approx $20 cheaper than anywhere else online. May or may not be the casual shoe store for you, but if you're in the area... give it a shot!”
