“My short experience here was perfectly fine. Nothing exceptional about the experience, but definitely nothing bad either. Were able to browse the store in peace without the need to bother anybody for assistance of any kind. The layout of the store is well done and easy to follow. There's even a clearly marked "clearance cubby" is what I'm calling it; A small arc of shoes a the back of the store in all sizes, children, men and women. There's also a TV tuned to youth-appropriate television in the back of the store (also where the kid's section is). Actually went in specifically for Toddler sized New Balance, which they had none of. All good tho. Prices here seem fair as well. After visiting, I actually ordered some shoes online from Shoe Show/Shoe Dept Encore that had the same sale price as in-store, which was approx $20 cheaper than anywhere else online. May or may not be the casual shoe store for you, but if you're in the area... give it a shot!”

“I've stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fultondale a few times and it's always a pleasant experience visiting. The hotel has a great breakfast offering every morning ranging from cereal and yogurt to made-to-order eggs and sausages. The lobby is pleasant and even has an outdoor area if you want to have your breakfast out in the sun. The rooms themselves are a bit on the older side, but the hotel seemed to be in the process of remodeling last time I visited and the new amenities are a great upgrade. The service from staff varies, but one gentleman who recognized me from an earlier visit made my day last time I stopped by. If I were to make any serious complaints, it would be that the lobby sometimes gets flooded with the small of chlorine from the pool, Overall though, the hotel is very nice, affordable, and in a fantastic location.”
