EW Motion Therapy - Hoover

I love EW & it’s people! So thankful for the professionalism and the genuine compassion that they show! They have helped my mom through knee replacement, my son threw a growth plate issue, and me through some leg tightness. If you need therapy I would turn anywhere other that EW! After having a lumbar discectomy, I thought I would never walk upright again. The caring nature and skill of the therapist at EW Motion brought me back to life. The facility was always clean and they were able to accommodate my schedule. They helped me develop a home routine and showed me I was cable of doing more than I imagined. Andrew at E&W has been instrumental in getting me back to “normal” after 2 hip replacements (7 weeks apart). Not only was he “hands on” in making sure my IT band and other muscle groups in my thighs were properly stretched (using various massage techniques), but he also asked the questions each week that needed to be asked: “what’s going on today?” “What do you feel we need to work on?” “Where’re we at?” “What’s been going well?” “Talk to me” Andrew listened and then responded to my particular needs and to my particular situation each time I went in.
After my first hip replacement, I went to a different physical therapist, who not once attempted to meet my needs, but instead, just instructed me to perform certain stretches and movements without even standing next to me. A woman at my church recommended Andrew, and once I met with him, I received one-on-one care and attention, not only in helping my hips stretch and move “normally” after my surgeries, but also when working on the various machines in the main room, making sure my technique was correct to maximize my results.
And now that my therapy has ended, I feel strong enough and confident enough in myself that I can continue working to get my hips to 100% of what they were before I even needed hip replacements!!!

Never had a referral before and had no idea what PT was like. After baby #2 I had a weak core and was starting to have strain in my lower back. I asked my OB for a referral and she gave me the number for EW Motion Therapy. From the very first visit, the PT Scott encouraged, taught, and assured me that I could be a mom with a strong core and do day to day life without pain. In a few short weeks, my diastisis was drastically improved and I can take care of my family without difficult. Thank you, EW Motion Therapy!!

Scott is an amazing therapist. The whole EW crew is great and very helpful. Went in with very limited motion after surgery. Was moving better after 1 week. 6 weeks later, I am a new man. Would highly recommend!
