Moss Rock Preserve

Totally Rocks! Like really, there's awesome big boulder formations. A Climbers playground for sure. Trails are lovely too. There's a waterfall that's easy to play in. The stream seems clean and is crystal clear with little fish in some parts. The question is, Can you find the "be kind" fairy door?

Noah LOVES this park! We boulder on rocks, create “creek castles” from the sediment. (Yes it much cleaner by the time it gets down to the beaches in the woods by way of natural filtration and the cleanup crews out there making it beautiful.) The natural spring waters that percolate keeps it cold and we have identified 2 springs ourselves.

Beautiful and close to home! Hoover has been home for me and my family for 28 years; A mix of good southern, working middle class families. All are welcome here! A diverse culture. Hiking, biking, walk your fur babies! Clean and just beautiful. Have a picnic in the park, bring a frisbee, hang out under a shade tree. Walk on track. We even saw a Mommy and Me group who gathered for about half an hour dancing and playing. This is a great place for outdoor fun. Super safe setting. Some construction is currently going on, but it won’t impede your plans to enjoy the trails or walking path.

It’s a nice little place to escape to in a pinch. There’s a massive expanse of trails ranging from light to heavy terrain. There’s two waterfalls, various pools of water and some with small fish (just enough for kids to have fun reeling one in!) This is an excellent place to let your dog run about.
The preserve is a family fun locale, no matter what season. So put on your best pair of walking shoes, grab the bottle of water and don’t forget a snack. Hope to see u there. 😁👍👍
