Rusty's Bar-B-Q

Rusty's is good and dependable. The wide variety of the menu is challenging but Rusty's manages to make it happen. A box of ribs always ends with some extra rib tips. White sopping sauce for chicken and turkey is one of the better local recipes.

A great little gem in Leeds,Al. right off the highway. You definitely won't be disappointed giving them a try. So far I have loved everything I've tried. I'm a big fan of stuffed eggs, and they have those to. They have a wide selection of desserts, so save some room. Rusty himself is a very friendly guy, I'm sure you will meet him when you visit. Get out today and go give Rusty's a try.

Got the party pack for Memorial Day and everything was great!!!! Pulled pork, chicken, and ribs were perfect with the right amount of smoke. So were the sides and sauces. Reminded me of my family's food when we would cook out when I was young. Keep it up and don't change anything :) If you haven't tried Rusty's Bar-B-Q in Leeds you are missing out!!!!

I would give this place 6 stars if possible. I've been by this place several times and finally stopped in on Memorial Day. Service was exceptional and the food was as well. I had the sampler with added brisket and the portion sizes were big enough that I needed a to go box. This is a must stop if you like the old school, hometown feel bbq joint with great food.

Pulled pork plate with spicy beans and fries, via drive through. Pork was smoked well, huge chunks of pulled meat with decent bark. Spicy beans were tasty and french fries were regular crinkle cuts. Portion size was good. Requested additional spicy sauce and salt and neither was put in bag and what salt was in the plastic fork and spoon bag was wet. Friendly folks, decent food, not as good as my first visit, but sill better than others i have visited in Leeds......

So...my next visit on 4.28.21...ordered 6 rib plate, with potato salad and spicy baked beans. Also had the jalapeño corn bread. I have to say these ribs were probably in the top 2, I have ever had in my 57 yrs. A great flavor, super tender, but not falling apart. Beautiful color. The spicy baked beans and potato salad were exceptional. Would strongly recommend the jalapeño corn bread also. All of this flavor topped off with exceptional customer service made for a great experience. Still...the best Q in the Leeds area!
