Life has a particular way of showing you exactly what you have to be thankful for. Nothing better than a storm to bring that out of you. Our roof left with a gaping hole , no power, trees down everywhere, power lines draped across the road. It looked like a war zone on our once peaceful street. The Lord never gives us more than we can handle and we prayed. I heard a knock on the wall of the house and I go and look and it’s Chas Brown. My insurance agent. He had thermoses of coffee and hot chocolate, a cooler full of food and snacks for the kids, a generator in the back of his truck for us to use, extra blankets, and a promise that he would be there with us through this storm and he would help us rebuild and replace all that was damaged and lost. We thank the Lord for no serious injuries and stuff can be replaced. I shopped home and auto insurance online and I found some that might could’ve saved me a couple bucks, but Chas being there when we needed him and he didn’t have to be is all I need to be thankful I chose Chas Brown and State Farm to protect my family. We thank you Chas for being that good neighbor, for being there in our time of need, and for being there side by side with us and helping us make our house a home again.
