Thank you Jackson Heating and Air for a job well done! Our technician Chase provided timely, courteous service during the maintenance visit today! Thank you for the excellent customer service!
They are the best! Not only are they punctual, courteous, a great value, but they give back to the community. I cannot recommend them more highly. They have installed and maintained our systems. They are good people.
This review is on a mini split that I Installed. During the installation I found leak and lost some refrigerant. I called Jackson to re-flare one coper pipe connection and re charge the lost refrigerant
I was very happy that the technician arrived same day and on time. The part that left a bad taste in my mouth was the lack of transparency of where my money was going. It cost $85 to get a quote, I get it they have to come out and look at the system. The technician told me that all of the refrigerant had leaked out and it would be $680 to recharge the system. I told him that once I realized there was a leak I closed off all of the valves so that at most what I lost was the pressure from the 25 ft. service line. He stated that he did not realize the valves were closed and went to re test the system. He told me I had refrigerant left over but he wasn't sure how much it was going to cost. One of the flares on the supply line had to re flared , this was my fault and I have no problem paying for it. My problem comes from the fact it took the technician 4 attempts to re flare the pipe properly. On one of the attempts the technician forgot to put the nut onto the copper pipe before he re flared it. Was I charged for these four attempts, I don't know. The technician added the refrigerant and punched some numbers into the tablet and I was told I owed $540. How much refrigerant was added? I don't know. How do I know that every thing is above board? I just wrote a check to the guy and never got a price break down or a receipt. The last thing that bothered me was during the entire hour the technician is working on my system he is spitting dip all over the yard GROSS.
All of this said, it's been a couple of months now and my system is working great. I appreciate the prompt response to a problem that was of my own making. ~Thank you
