Very good. The bartender was great. My drinks were so good. I bought 2 bottles of spices rum

The spiced rum was truly unique. More cinnamon and anise and less vanilla and sweetness than a typical spiced rum. If you want something off the beaten path, it's a welcome change. Tried a few other spirits and all were unique. Caroline has a passion for her craft and provided great insight into the thought process behind the choices in ingredients. After a great experience trying just the spirits, I'm looking forward to trying some cocktails next time I'm in town.

This distillery and the family that operates it is simply fantastic. My wife and i had a little time to kill so we stopped by for a tour... and we can't wait to travel through Opelika again so we can visit some more. The distilled spirits are superb!!! We really didn't try anything that wasn't 'Top Shelf', and their prices for the quality can't be beat!!! Believe we are now hooked on John Emerald Spirits!!! Mixed drinks are great, as is straight out of the bottle. Highly recommend you stop by if ever given the opportunity. You will not be disappointed!!!

Great customer service. The bartender was awesome. You can do a tasting of three of their spirits for $6. My husband bought bottles of two of the three he tasted. We got a shot glass, t-shirt and stickers too.
