Fun for all ages! This is a great place to take the kids/grandkids to see all of the local inhabitants. When you love the island it's great to know all of the types of animals and fish you may encounter. Inside the aquarium is only part of the experience, be sure to walk around the boardwalk area outside. The little information stations are packed with details. There are plenty of places for photos and outside there is a tank where you can touch sting rays and a shark. It's not overly expensive and they do offer discounts for larger groups and military!

Great experience and friendly knowledge staff. A great location to visit for the afternoon, located near the fort and the ferry, lots of local water-life to see, tanks and facility are very well kept. This is a smaller local aquarium and sea lab so it’s not like the large aquariums in New Orleans or Mississippi. However the price is super affordable, it’s a great place to learn about the bay and gulf coast. Highly recommend.

This was a lot of fun. The stingrays and seahorses were our favorite. The jellyfish tanks were being cleaned so we didn't get to see them. Overall it's a must see! We could relax and take our time strolling around looking at a lot of different types of sea creatures.

Cheap entry fee and some neat exhibits including a petting tank with sting rays, hammerhead shark, and some fish. Plenty of neat tanks to look at. Volunteers are obviously passionate. Ultimately it's a pretty small aquarium and there's not a ton there, but it's worth a visit if you're on the island especially with kids.

Loved every stitch of the aquarium inside and out. Our 2.5yr old had a blast looking at all the fish and telling them to come out. Petting the shark and sting rays was a lot of fun. The tanks are very well set up. They had onesies for our 6mo old too!
