WOW! I would pass by a few times a week and always wanted to stop. Friday, I had a break in service calls and decided to drop in. At first glance, I saw all the different beers they carry and do I love beer. I like trying different beers too.
Even though I am a big fan of Martin's fryed chicken, I really enjoyed Champy's in every way...big pieces, tasty, hot and fresh. On to the side orders...real mashed potatoes with some skin still on(Yummmy)and flavourful green beans. Most important, great service!
The waiters had no problem with seating us in a way to cut down on our walking distance. I went through massive pneumonia and RSV and was having a tough day. She took very good care of us. My wife had a Shrimp dinner and I had a two piece chicken. Both were delicious and worth every penny. Based on today's visit, I highly recommend Champy's! We will be back.
Love their chicken. Cooked fresh so it comes out piping hot. Try the smoked sausage, cheese and pickle platter as an appetizer. You can thank me later.
Great atmosphere and wonderful service. The fries and sauces were on-point! The chicken, while supposedly cooked fresh, wasn't hot but lukewarm and the breading seemed a little old. It was edible but I wouldn't choose to go back for their chicken, which they're known for.
