Las Trojas Cantina

I have been here several times and they have plenty of seating especially for big parties. The food is good but I like the less “fancy” Mexican personally. My wife likes the margaritas and they do a good job of keeping the drinks coming. This is not your $10 Mexican lunch. You will spend big bucks to dine here. Not my favorite but they are always busy which says something by itself.

This restaurant has a big dining area. Which is great for you if you go at popular times, such as, Friday or Saturday night or even Sunday lunch. We went on a Friday night at 7PM and we were seated immediately. The wait staff were all friendly and efficient. The food was very good. We were a party of ten and I didn't hear any complaints from anyone.

We found this place by accident, a couple of years ago during our stay in Birmingham. Now we make a point of getting to it every time we visit. Food is great and their guacamole is spectacular. Best I've ever had!

Great food, great staff. Excellent selection and large portions. Come hungry
