My son and I were new to Calera and needed a need barber. Joann really does an amazing job and takes the time to do it right! My son is 2 and would refuse haircuts Joann worked with him and put on cartoons he took to her very well. We are definitely regulars now! Superb job every time! She is appointment only which makes sure she has her full attention on you. She is so great we booked her for 6 months in advance.
Excellent place. I’ve been going there for 2 years. My first visit, I thought I was going in for a quick haircut but found out that Joaynn is very meticulous and takes pride in how her customers look when she’s finished. On average I’m usually in the chair and out the door in 25 minutes. She cuts hair by appointment only and it’s worth the effort to make one. Good haircut and a good price. Bring cash and leave her a good tip. She deserves it!
WOW! I just read the review from C.L. Obviously a misunderstanding somehow. I know Joaynn wouldn't treat anyone unfairly especially based on looks. She does keep her door locked for security and I don’t blame her after the crazy guy came in with the likely intentions of robbing her. Not really fair to call her customers Nazis either. Where does that thought come from anyway? Seriously???
I will continue to do business here!
Great place to get a hair cut and a good shave owner is super friendly. Must make a appointment which is an excellent touch because it shows she cares about her customers.
