Montevallo Family Medicine

After receiving new insurance, I was assigned to this doctor's office. Although I had a rocky start with one of the receptionists, I have grown to love this place. Once I eventually came in for my first visit, the doctors and staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Overall, I have been pleasantly surprised by this office, and recommend it to everyone!

My first time seeing Dr. Michele Daggett and I have alot going on with my health and she took so much time with me and was very thorough and even took notes as she was listening to me. She was on point getting my prescriptions called in and ordering bloodwork. Her nurse Christine was so sweet and took time to listen to me and answer all my questions. And the staff were very nice at check in. I would encourage anyone to try her practice.

ValloMD at HSI family health is our new family doctor Office! Dr. Michele Daggett was very informative and exceeded my expectations in helping me create a plan of care for my health. I enjoyed her knowledge on information regarding medications and diagnosis. She was very patient and took time to get to know me as an individual and my care. The front receptionist are fantastic and so kind. The obgyn nurse filling in for the MA who took me back really listened to me and made me feel like I was in the right place for my healthcare. The office was clean and organized and the waiting room was nice and put together, the patient rooms were orderly and professional. I will be bringing my children here for pediatrics and family medicine for my spouse and I. Could not highly recommend this office and services more. Anyone looking for a General family medicine MD. I highly recommend!

First ever visit to Dr Merkel for some personal things going on and these bad reviews must be because they didn't get prescribed pain pills. If that's a problem you need to seek help because this doc and his crew care so much for you and immediately gets you the help you need. Look forward to many more visits doc.
