Samuel Evan Carstensen, MD

I was sent to Dr. Carstensen for a trimalleolar fracture with dislocation which had to be surgically repaired. He was thorough in his explanation of my injury and attentive to my questions and concerns. He surgically repaired my ankle 6 days later. Now at 6 weeks post op, my bones have fully healed and I’m full weight bearing, getting around on my own without crutches, and my incisions look better than I would have ever expected. I feel like Dr. Carstensen made decisions that allowed for a quicker recovery for me and I’m so thankful! I highly recommend him and would send family and friends to him in a heartbeat.

They really helped me with my knee and Doctor Carstensen went through all of my options and the pros and cons of each. I couldn’t walk when I got there and now my knee is as good as new. Very friendly staff a

My husband had the pleasure of seeing Dr.Carstensen for his neck. The exam and visit were very thorough. He explained what he saw on the X-ray and made him feel quite at ease. He also answered any questions he had regarding the pain he was experiencing. It was quite a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend him to anyone in search of an orthopedist.
