(January 17, 2020, 5:13 pm)Last week my daughter and I were in a bad accident on I-65. Our car rolled and ended upside down. I had a concussion so I was kind of out of it the whole time, but I do remember the firemen from station 2 (I'm assuming) getting there in 3 minutes! They were very helpful, climbing into the car that was in a ditch to get our belongings out. Thank you, men! Your presence was calming to my daughter and you were very helpful and encouraging to us!
(January 14, 2020, 10:29 pm)Great group of guys! A friends blood pressure was high and convinced her to go there and let them check her out. She left in an ambulance and more than likely had a stroke diverted because of their care and recommendations.

Our Fire Department was founded in 1964 as a volunteer organization and evolved into a full-time department in 1984. We currently employ 80 certified firefighters/emergency medical technicians who work a 24 hour on / 48 hour off schedule. Pelham is home to five fire stations strategically positioned throughout the city.
