“We used Lane Cabinets for a home remodel in 2022. We had them do cabinets for our kitchen and washer/dryer area and they did a PHENOMENAL job. The cabinets are beautiful and have had no issues over the past year. Bryan and Cam are so easy to work with and could not have been more helpful in guiding the design to fit our space. Cam did an amazing job installing the cabinets and has been helpful for any questions after installation. Pricing for our large project was fantastic as well. Overall, my wife and I cannot be more impressed with this company. I will always call them first for any cabinet/shelving needs and I cannot recommended them enough if you are looking into getting cabinets for your home!”

“I called to ask the company about re-covering the bench seat/fold-out bed in my horse trailer’s camper in early September. I let them know I was camping soon and asked if it could be done by October 1st. They told me it would “probably” be done but couldn’t promise, which is fair enough. I left the sofa with them about 9/7. They said they would call for a credit card number for materials when it was time to complete the project, and gave me a quote. In early October I still hadn’t heard from them to even get a card for the materials, so I called. No return call. Finally, the next week, I was called by Scott to get my credit card. The price was higher than the original quote, which he said was because materials had gone up. By now, the cost to re-cover the sofa was going to be greater than just buying a brand new one from the manufacturer. However, I was assured the materials would be far superior so I agreed. The next week Scott called to say it was already finished because “they found some leftover material from a previous job.” If that was the case, why was I still charged more for the materials? By this point, it had been six weeks so I didn’t say anything. It simply wasn’t worth it. The people there are nice enough but the price increase seemed unwarranted. Sadly, on the camping trip I wanted the cushions redone for, I was in a major accident on my horse and sustained a broken leg. I was camping by myself, and after driving myself to and from the ER with a broken leg and no more than aspirin for the pain (I was driving), I had to pull myself up backwards onto the upper camper bed in horrible pain. Honestly not sure how I did it, except I was exhausted and couldn’t stand the thought of sleeping on the hard floor. It would have been a game-changer if the sofa had been done by the “maybe” date and I could have slept on it instead. All that to say, if you’re in a hurry, I’d look for someone else even though the sofa looks fine.”

“During home remodeling I realized my kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities were in need of updating. I looked at my options from total replacement to simply changing hardware. I landed in the middle with “resurfacing” my cabinetry since they were all in excellent condition. I learned resurfacing is not simply going to home improvement store and picking out a color and buying paint labeled for “cabinets”. And it’s not hiring a professional painter to simply paint your cabinets. I know because I made that mistake and it proved to be costly. Not only did I have the expense of the paint and the cost for services of a painter but I was facing replacement of all my kitchen cabinetry and four bathroom vanities. I did more research and then reached out to actual companies that specialize in cabinet making. I chose JJ’s Custom Cabinetry from Calera, AL and I’m so glad I did. My cabinets and vanities are beautifully “resurfaced” and have a finish normally associated with a factory cabinet job. The depth of the finish is flawless, smooth to the touch and truly beautiful. JJ’s Custom Cabinetry provided a professional written agreement with details of services to be provided as well as the cost. This is a family owned local business with many years of experience. I’m very happy to recommend this company to anyone looking for high quality workmanship as well as superior professionalism.”

“I prefer shopping in the Chelsea store because the staff is helpful and friendly. The store is clean and usually well stocked. The only problem with this store is the super creepy man who works in the Optical center. He's always staring at me. It's very uncomfortable.”

“We absolutely LOVE our new custom master bedroom closet designed and installed by “A Better Closet.” The process was painless and exceeded my expectations. I kept putting off getting a custom closet but my wire racks just keep breaking….had I known how gorgeous this would look we would have done this way sooner. We confirmed our design and got our closet installed the following Friday, another company wait would have been 4 months or more. A better closet came in and had our closet gutted out and installed in 4 hours, impressive!!! I’ll definitely be using them for all my future projects!!! If you are hesitant please don’t be, this company is the absolute BEST!!!”

“Awesome!!! I had an open house on Sunday, and knew there was a super slim chance of getting my carpet done, as it was Thursday. I called and they had an estimate done the same day and carpet installed by lunch on Saturday. I can’t thank them enough and the carpet looks great.”

“Nice store and the owner is very helpful. This furniture is built to last. These pieces will be still be around and in antique stores in the future. With many of the vendors, it is possible to get new pieces made with custom alterations and a wide selection of finishes. Furniture from regional vendors are showcased in the showroom, but other furniture can be ordered from major manufacturers. From the moment you walk in, you can tell you are in some place different when you smell the aroma of real furniture made from real wood. Definitely worth visiting to see what you have been missing.”

“I had to hop on and praise Cynthia! She was our check out clerk and just bubbling over with kindness and sunshine. She was chatting with the guest in front of me like they were old friends, then treated me the same way. She happily gave my boys stickers and told me how precious and wonderful they were. She looked me in the eye and said warmly, "It's an honor and a privilege to serve you today," just because she 100% felt that way. She radiates gratitude and joy and Target is lucky to have her! We've had awesome experiences with other employees too, I wish I remembered their names better. This is a well staffed location 💗”

“I have heard the tales of the “Bama Boom”, and last week at 3 am, we thought we experienced one. Well, in a way, we did. Our cat was upset about getting SoftPaws and had jumped on the lower section of our master closet to hide, causing a collapse. We were blessed with getting a recommendation to call Closettec, and WOW. Not only that, but Jeff put us as a priority and got it designed, Miller, and installed within a week. The guys were so nice and helpful, and although it was an unplanned expense, I’m glad Callie broke the closet. If you’re looking for a custom closet guy that you can collaborate with and put up a quality closet without costing you an exorbitant amount - this is the place. They were wonderful and our closet is so much more functional and beautiful.”

“I'm choosing to edit my review. This time I'll be adding photos. My review will basically be the same. I love going to the store and walking around. My biggest complaint remains the same, self-checkouts. I think if anyone follows me they will find, I'm not a fan of self checkouts. You lose so much of the customer service experience with self checkouts. I know there's a bottom line businesses have to meet but again what's the cost. Some of these are blurry. It's hard to take pictures in a department store without people looking at you kind of funny. There might even be a couple of duplicated photos because I took so many.”

“Mark and Whitney did a tremendous job customizing my pantry. They transformed it from wire wrack pantry to a custom cabinet pantry. Every detail was thought of from where my cereal would go to my custom drawers for flour and onions/potatoes. The work they do is unexplainable and at a reasonable price. I would recommend them for any of your custom cabinet work. They will work with you every step of the way and even be patient with you when you think of last minute Pinterest ideas like i did. Unlike the other cabinet companies they did not charge me extra for making changes to the drawings. Overall they do a wonderful job and I am very grateful to have found them to do my custom cabinets. Please Keep in mind the pictures are before the countertops went in.”

“Like going to this location but I felt so sorry for them the other day. The power went out for a minute so to a Storm that came through and made the register go down and the people shopping there at time where so rude and impatient with the employees. I was very impressed with the Manager and employees they work with each other to find a solution to help customer's until all the register's came back up.”
