Moody Police Department

In the 30 years that we have lived in Moody, we have found our police officers consistently professional and competent. We appreciate their service so much!

By mistake I did not release the setting on my alarm system today. What a wonderful feeling that two outstanding young police officers came by to see if I was okay.

Will try not to bother them again but they were GREAT. Thanks again.

Police officers here are super cool!

I am a single mom of 3 school age boys and I drive a school bus. I have only been a resident of Moody, AL for almost a month. I am usually home by 4:30 pm. I have no relative within an hour drive. I had to drive the track team to their track meet and I had not heard from my boys, as they have always called and checked in with me by 3:30pm. I called the home phone and it just continued to ring with no answer. I called and it directed me straight to voice mail. Finally, I called Moody police department by 5:35pm and I received a phone call from Officer Beavers informing me, my boys were home and he allowed my son to speak to me from his cellphone. My son then informed me the home phone was not working and my son cellphone was broken. It may not me much to anyone else. Officer Beaver I appreciate you for just taking the time and patience to make sure they were doing well. Also, I would like to thank the dispatcher, he did a wonderful job.
