Dr. Wilbanks is a great doctor. He actually listens to your concerns. He also is not gonna just prescribed medicine if not necessary. Some sicknesses meds or antibiotics won't help and he knows when they will help and won't. We never have had a long wait time with scheduled appt unless it was scheduled to fit in. If you child isn't sick you may wait longer bc sick kids are a priority anywhere you go. We have been using him since we moved here 4 yrs ago and glad bc he reminds me of our dr from dothan who takes the time to show he cares.
Dr. Wilbanks and his staff have been amazing to my daughter and I for the past 12 years. I love how Dr. Wilbanks doesn't prescribe antibiotics each time a kid just gets sick (when there's no need for them of course). He's very caring, alert, and he listens to your concerns thoroughly. The staff has always been nothing short of business and sweet. They stay on top of their jobs, even on days when they probably wished the phone wouldn't ring uncontrollably by people on the other end of the line that's very rude to them, or on days when it seems like everything has went wrong that is possible, and there's been an accidental appt. booking or booked an appt for someone's child under the wrong name. The staff are human like us, they're allowed to make mistakes or have bad days. Thanks to everyone at Dr. Wilbanks' office that make it possible to keep that place in business and running tighter than a ship!

Great doctor that listens to the parents to include them with best care plan. As for the 2 bad reviews we have never waited an hour to see the doctor as mentioned in one review. As for the complaint about wanting a prescription because your child is sick is not our health plan and something we enjoy from Dr Wilbanks, If your child was sick 3 different times and got better without prescriptions, then sounds like the doc was right on point with best child care solution.
We love Dr. Wilbanks, and his staff. He is always thorough and to the point. He doesn't write prescriptions unnecessarily, and answers any questions I may have. My kids have always responded well to him and I am always able to get an appointment quickly when my kids are sick.
