“I am a Northern & have been here 6 + years. I am also a registered nurse with a master's degree. They have always treated me with respect & protected my rights. They have & continue to help me with things I find confusing. As a Northerner I don't like Southern food but the manager has always done everything she can possibly do to provide some dishes that I can eat. The facility was built in 1973 but every day housekeeping dusts, sweeps & mops each room. They have a fantastic Doctor for medical director. They have not hesitated to send me to the hospital each time I needed to go. Actually I give the place 10 stars. I hope this review helps some people gain a better understanding of Diversicare.”

“It's been over a year since Dr. Shory worked on me. I knew it would take a while so I didn't want to post a review prematurely. Dr. Shory was honest with me and told me I was never going to go fully bald. I had just gotten very thin. I went with his recommendation of "going big". That means we did one 6 hour (?) session and he did transplants all over. He plugged denser in the obvious spots like the back crown and hair line, but he used the one session to provide better over all coverage. Very happy with that choice. It didn't fill in over night. It takes some time. But I was very happy with the results. The staff was very nice as well. Thanks Dr. Shory.”

“When I worked at an urgent care Cahaba Valley was always so helpful getting patients in as soon as possible and sent timely reports. As the patient this time I was really nervous to have my first breast ultrasound. I had my sister with me but became extra nervous to have a male tech. Turns out I had no reason to be! He was super friendly and calm making small talk with me so I could distract myself. And I got back super fast! So what I was being dramatic about Cahaba Valley made a perfectly nice experience :)”

Be nurse that took my vitals was so sweet I don't remember her name but she was a tall slender young girl with red hair that was long I think her name started with an a because I noticed a piece of jewelry she had on that had an A on it she sat and talked with me and listen to all my concerns before the PA came in the PA do not remember her name I'm sorry she was very sweet she listened was very knowledgeable and caring she even had a question about one of my issues and called the doctor in to have a look even though their system kept going in and out I was also able to have blood work done before I left. All of that makes me want to go back when in the past it hasn't always been such a great experience. I see a ton of improvement.”
