“Class of 2015 Graduate.....The school has made great progress, they are now ranked in the nation and ranked the #1 school of Birmingham City Schools. 5 years ago (about the class of 2010) the graduation rate was about 67% well my class (class of 2015) had about 99% graduation rate, out of 243 seniors 242 graduated. “I attended an accelerated learning program there from 1960 to '63. We had the same teacher and the same students for the entire period. It was great. We spent little time the classroom and went on a lot of field trips all over the state. We had unusual classes like communications and art and music. It was one of the most positive educational experiences I've ever had. I still think about and miss those people.”
