I came to Dr. Downing 13 weeks pregnant and 6 weeks sober. (I stopped my use the day I discovered my pregnancy). She cared for me and my son until 41 weeks where I was induced, and then until my 6 week postpartum check up. My son was born 7lb 9oz on Feb 21st, 2023 and he was PERFECT. Having been so recently back in recovery I felt safe and unjudged in Dr. Downing's capable hands. She has a reputation within the professional AND civilian community as a woman to be respected and a force to be reckoned with. With 40+ years of experience with high-risk pregnancies, I have a large handful of friends and family members who were cared for by Dr. Downing as well and we all sing her praises. 🙏🏻

She's now at Mat-su Midwifery, and the staff there is kind and respectful. I currently take my happy 7month old son there for his pediatric care. 💌 #15monthsSober

I've had an absolutely wonderful experience with everyone here, from the front desk to my whole team of midwives. Santhia is an amazing midwife and is incredibly informative and genuine. I wanted a natural birth but when that wasn't in the cards for me, I was supported. Tami Smith is amazing for pediatrics and as a primary care provider.

We have been seeing Tami Smith for pediatric care since our baby was born. She is wonderful and knowledgable! We absoluetly love her! Our baby has always felt comfortable with her as well. She is very gentle with him. She takes the time to listen to and answer all of my first time parent questions. She is also always quick to get back to me with answers to my questions outside of visits. The whole atmosphere at Mat-Su Midwifery is very comfortable. Everyone we have interacted with has been exceptionally kind.
