Such a great experience. Very glad they are investing into this great history and that we could contribute by taking the tour. Highly recommend it!
We almost missed this gem when visiting Tombstone. Actually found it by mistake. We had a tire problem and arrived late to our tour. They were very pleasant to catch us up with our group. If you like western movies this is a must. They are in the process of rebuilding some of the buildings but there is plenty to see. Plenty parking for RVs. Everyone in the set was very friendly.
Loved it! Check out the movies that were filmed there before you go, they ask lots of questions. The actors play their parts very well and the tour guides are very knowledgeable.
Finally we were able to check it out. I am not a Western movie buff but my husband is and this was a treat... Even for me. Ten dollars for an informed tour per person (you can't wonder due to safety during restoration) and five more for the stage coach ride was well worth the time spent. The people there are knowledgeable, friendly and just fun to be around! I will recommend this to anyone who asks for sites to see and can't wait to see this place come to life. There is a lot of work, however the people are focused on the end goal and they should be recognized!
Couldn't wait to check this place out.
Turns out that you cannot just pull up and walk around at your leisure.
You must pay and take the tour.
But it was well worth it.
Our guide did an Amazing job.
Our party had a blast!
