Jakes Corner General Store

Amazing hospitality!! We are cyclists from New Zealand, cycling from Calgary to Phoenix. Jakes Corner was our last stop. The general store looked after us for the night. Great pizzas and good selection of groceries.

Great store for a quick put stop. Get your fresh produce, fresh breads, Refreshing drinks, a snack, & a little bit of local history. All in one place

7/2/21 Jakes is back open.
I report them closed but they have new owners from Ohio and they are really great. They have pizza cookin and cold refreshing beverages, fuel, and other convinience items. So glad its back open. Rode up from the valley,enjoyed a cold beverage in a rocking chair and good convo with new owners,who are very nice.
They are doing small remodeling jobs to make this a nice wayside for travelers as well as supporting the community in the area.

: 3/3/22 The new owners are making this place very cozy. New Coffee bar, U-haul truck rental center. Good price on fuel too. Stop in,say hello.

A great stop on the road between Phoenix and Punkin, after a hard day's cycle. The owner is very friendly and the store had warm pizza, hot dogs and much more! Highly recommended stop on your journey.

Nice little store, they have a picnic table out side to kick it.they have food. we enjoyed a stop there.here are some pictures we took.😎
