This is a little Arizona gem. Probably the best Chicken Fried Steak for 200 miles. Amazing gift shop next door with western and AZ specific items. Short drive to lake activities.

There is one very disgusting ritual they do every day. Before all the customers are gone, they mop the floor with an extremely filthy smelly mop that make you never want to go there after 6pm.
They start mopping when it's slow, which could be as early as 7:30 pm, and even with customers still coming in at 8-8:30 they will continue mopping leaving a wet dirty smelly floor for customers to slip on.
Food is good, most of the sandwiches have thick bread that needs either more meat or less bread.
I don't think it looks good when the chef is standing walking around the waitress area drinking beer straight out of the pitcher.

Been here many times and always great food and service at reasonable prices.
My wife and I come in once every month or so for the shuffleboard tournament which is on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Great fun with great locals who are all very good at shuffleboard.
I always lose and always have a great time.

Oh my goodness, this place is amazing!! Fresh, hot, delicious food! The service was great. Charming inside with country decor. Booths and tables. Homemade fresh cinnamon rolls, pies, & desserts.

Super clean, excellent service with friendly staff and the breakfast was spot on as it filled my belly and fueled my desire to come back for more!

Go ahead, take a ride into the mountains and get some of that goodness…You’ll be glad you did.
