MTM Ranch Horseback Adventures

I have been coming to MTM since I was 11 years old and have had a blast every time! The owner’ insistence on safety and only doing what you feel comfortable with is very different to other guest ranches I have been to. Because of all of those things I’ve kept coming back for 8 years now and I absolutely love it. The guides are knowledgeable, the horses are quiet and well-mannered, and everyone is just so nice. I rarely give 5-star reviews but this place deserves it!

I ride with MTM at least a couple times a year. Patty and all the wranglers are amazing and the horse are too! The wranglers always have interesting info to share about the area and they take such great care of their wonderful horses as well as the trails. Thanks for the great experience! I highly recommend this stable!!

Beautiful scenery, nice wranglers. Hills and valleys, beautiful sunset ride. Easy and well behaved horses.

This place was absolutely awesome! We had never been to Arizona and decided on the 2 hour trail and it didn’t disappoint! The guide explained all the amazing wonders of the Sonoran Desert, the wildlife, the climate, plant life, etc. We even came across a rattlesnake and a gopher snake during the ride. Thrilling, dramatic views of nearby Elephant Mountain and the desert landscape were abundant while the guide provided photos from her personal camera. I highly recommend this ranch for a wonderful horseback riding experience in the Phoenix area!

Amazing experience! The horses look so well taken care of and well trained, compassionate people, and I can tell the owner absolutely loves what they do. The trails are not super flat which makes it much more interesting and enjoyable. We'll definitely be coming back again, thank you for making our weekend great and full of smiles!
